Ulster University’s Magee campus was the site of the largest university disaster simulation exercise to take place on the island of Ireland.

Over 320 participants were involved in the all-day event on Saturday 9 March when students faced several different scenarios designed to challenge them in dealing with serious injuries and emotional trauma, to test their ability in responding to mass casualties, gunshot wounds, chemical attacks and flooding.
